Open Design in Action ! Open Design Weekend 2015

After ODF2014, the HKDI DESIS Lab team continued to explore different aspects of OPEN DESIGN through a series of design actions. This is why we organised the 2nd Open Design Event, which consisted of two main features: the design action based Open Design Weekend and the concluding Open Design Forum.On 28-29 Nov at the Open Design weekend, the lab has invited citizens to the school to join different design actions:

Fixing Things! - The results from the workshop of are exhibited and invited the participants to try and comment on them.

Measuring Bodies! – A station designed for drawing human Spirograph is set up for the participants to join the interactive data collection process.

Drawing Flowers! – A mini-exhibition of Fapopo and also a design station to encourage the participants to draw like and draw with Fapopo. 

Opening City! -  An idea trolley is set at the action weekend to collect and share the possibility of reimagining the city. The ideas collected are then brought on to be realised in the 100in1day.
